Ducks Move to Elite Eight Against Oklahoma

Mike Krzyzewski Imitated Donald Trump this week by just denying that he said something that was caught on tape because he felt uncomfortable.

Brooks, who like a college student celebrated after he hit the improbable 30 foot shot, said Krzyzewski told him that he’s “too good of a player to be showing off in the end.” Brooks said he told the coach that he was right.

Dana Altman, Oregon’s coach blamed himself for the controversy that followed Dillon Brooks’ 3-pointer near half court with 10 seconds to play in his team’s 82-68 win over Duke in the Sweet 16 on Thursday night and the Ducks forward’s subsequent, debated exchange with Blue Devils coach Mike Krzyzewski in the handshake line.

“At the end of the game, there was a difference in the shot clock and the game clock,” Altman said Friday. “I told Dillon to shoot it. So if anybody’s got a problem with it, it should be directed at me.

“He was acting on my orders. I told him to shoot it. I didn’t think he’d make it. It was a 30-footer, but there was a five-, six-second difference there.”

Oregon as the only remaining PAC 12 team in the NCAA Mens Basketball tournament continues in its quest to repeat as the Champion. The Ducks hold the undisputed record for the longest time between NCAA basketball championships. The last time they were champions was 1939 the first time the NCAA held a basketball championship tournament which is also the last time they played Oklahoma in the tournament.

They play today at 3 pm on CBS. This is an opportunity to watch history.
