I need you, as a thinking and freedom loving American, to get five things straight in your mind:
One: politicians lie. Period. end of discussion.
Two: every politician is in hock to the big donors. Period. End of discussion.
Three: if something doesn’t change, America, as a democratic Republic, is over. Period, end of discussion.
Four: we, as the grassroots American electorate are at war with an elite ruling class who has specific, detailed plans for our future; plans do not include us being economically, religiously, or experientially free. Period, end of discussion.
Five: we do not know the backroom dealings that go on with politicians, so we are handicapped beyond measure. Period, end of discussion.
Today, Mitt Romney took to the stage to urge, in very strong language, we in this country must rally behind anyone but Donald Trump. He presented a detailed plan to stop the momentum that Donald Trump has amassed in this campaign cycle.
I will not attempt to dissect or rebut the statements of Mitt Romney except to point out the obvious: he lost. He lost big time. He lost big by losing a polling lead. He lost big time by failing to do with and to Barak Obama what he is stating he will do to Donald Trump. Romney had skin
in the game and blew his chance. He’s the proverbial armchair quarterback. He, from a loser’s podium is looking at the “dumb masses” and telling us what we should and shouldn’t do.
I’m insulted. Badly insulted.
Essentially, Mitt Romney said that we are too dumb to know our own minds or what is best for our country. His remarks were not filled as such, filled with vitriol for Trump as they were filled with condescension towards us. Romney stated, in no uncertain terms that every voter who has cast a ballot for Trump is an imbecile incapable of hearing the debates, weighing the arguments, and, in good conscience casting the vote that made the most sense to them.
You should be insulted, too. It doesn’t matter who you voted for, Mitt Romney, and the ones pulling his strings have called “We the People” stupid, blind, cult of celebrity following bigots, racists, and those wishing to see America fail.
I will vote for whom I wish. I will make up my own mind without the help of Prof. Romney and the Koch brothers. I will decide what is best for me and mine. I will not blindly, and under the banner of party loyalty do their bidding.
I urge you to vote your conscience. Not mine. Not the masses. Not the establishment. Not your church’s mind. Yours. Period.
The next few hours will show who is on the side of “We the People” and who is on the side of the manipulators, puppeteers, and bitter clingers. Any Republican candidate who endorses Romney’s not-veiled-at-all attempt to decide, on our behalf, who is the nominee, should immediately be disavowed by the electorate in a scorched earth campaign that would make Sherman’s march through Georgia look like a Sunday School picnic.
Kasich has already expressed extreme delight in the speech. Pack your bags, you Ohio carpetbagger, you’re done in my book.
Many of you will decide that I’m a Trump supporter. You assume facts not in evidence. I am not disclosing for whom I voted, will vote, or will support in the end of this process.
But, make no mistake. I am firmly opposed to this theatrical attempt at manipulating the American people. I conclude with this:
“The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over.”
