According to Sgt. Greg Plummer, at 12:40Pm Tillamook Worksite Troopers responded to a two vehicle, nearly head-on, serious injury crash on SR Hwy 6 near MP 19 (3 mile west of Lee’s Camp). Preliminary information indicates an eastbound 2006 Toyota Matrix, driven by LISA ANNE NORTHROP, age 50, from Portland crossed into the westbound lane for unknown reasons and collided with a 2009 Pontiac G6 driven by AMANDA RAE BARLEEN, age 22, from Milwaukie. The right front passenger riding with Northrop was listed as RAYMOND PATRICK BROWN, age 46, also from Portland.
Due to the severity of her injuries, NORTHROP was transported via Life Flight helicopter to OHSU for treatment. She is currently listed in critical condition. BROWN was transported to Legacy Emanuel Hospital via REACH helicopter for treatment. His condition is listed as serious, but stable. BARLEEN was ground transported by Tillamook Regional Medical Center Ambulance to Legacy Emanuel Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Seatbelts were used by all occupants and air bags deployed in both vehicles.
The investigation is still on going. SR Highway 6 was closed and traffic was re-routed for approximately four hours during the investigation. OSP was assisted by OSP McMinnville, OSP Portland, Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office, Tillamook Fire and Rescue, ODOT, Tillamook regional Medical Center Ambulance, Reach and Life Flight.
